Dr Beratgul Echeverria is a medical doctor with 23 years of experience. She was born and raised in Turkey, where she obtained her qualifications as a general Neurologist and Neurophysiologist. She went on to establish a neurophysiology clinic in a very busy public hospital, where she managed a wide variety of neurological cases.

After immigrating to Australia with her family in 2016, Dr Echeverria completed the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) requirements and proudly obtained her fellowship here in 2019. She has since worked in Brisbane hospitals and private clinic settings as a Consultant Neurologist and Neurophysiologist.

She has a particular interest in neurophysiology and has seen thousands of cases in recent years. The conditions of the peripheral nervous system diagnosed with neurophysiological testing include: carpal tunnel syndrome; cubital tunnel syndrome (ulnar neuropathy); radial neuropathy (wrist drop); peroneal neuropathy (foot drop); peripheral neuropathy (pins and needles in the hands and feet), and; radiculopathy (neck and back pain).

She also specialises in complex headache disorders, chronic migraines, tension-type headaches, cranial neuralgias, craniofacial pain complex and their treatments, including Botulinum toxin injections.

Beratgul is a highly experienced Neurologist who provides exemplary service for her patients in a newly established clinic called the Centre for Neurology, Sleep, and Dental Health.
